Physician Profile
Dr. Brian Lamkin
DO
Founder and Medical Director, The Lamkin Clinic
An osteopathic physician with more than 25 years in functional and regenerative medicine, Dr. Lamkin built a practice where root-cause thinking is not a tagline but the actual clinical method.
Brian Lamkin, DO is the founder and Medical Director of The Lamkin Clinic in Edmond, Oklahoma -- a cash-based functional medicine practice he established in 2007 after nearly a decade in traditional family medicine. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine, a Certified Age Management Medicine Physician, and one of the few Institute of Functional Medicine-certified Bredesen-protocol physicians in the central United States.
His approach is simple: find the cause and fix it. Not manage it, fix it.

Why He Built This Practice
Clinical Philosophy
Dr. Lamkin left traditional family medicine in 2007 because he kept asking a question most physicians are trained not to ask: Why is this patient sick?
Not what to prescribe.
That question led him to functional medicine, advanced diagnostics, hormone optimization, peptide therapy, and the Bredesen Protocol for cognitive health. It also led to Oklahoma's only BTL Academic Center -- the most advanced non-surgical technology platform in the state for body, brain, face, and pelvic health.
His patients are not managed. They are investigated, understood, and treated at the root cause. The goal is never lifelong dependency on medication. The goal is optimal function for as long as possible, at the highest level possible.
